Create a tournament

How it works

  1. Pick the app for your format. Singles, doubles, beach or a rotating-partner format like King of the Table. Each app follows the rules of that format.
  2. Enter the players and match settings. Names, how many games or sets, points per game and who serves first.
  3. Tap the side that won the rally. The score, serve indicator and game or set count update straight away. Made a mistake? Use Undo.
  4. Follow the prompts. The app reminds you when to change ends and announces the game, set and match winner.

Who the apps are for

Club nights and social leagues

Hand a phone to whoever is umpiring. The score is clear to read and the serve rotation is handled for them, so beginners score correctly too.

Tournaments and round robins

Volunteers can run several courts or tables without scoreboards or paper sheets. Game-by-game history makes it easy to report results.

Coaches and players

Use it in practice matches to keep the focus on playing, not on remembering whose serve it is or what the score was.

Frequently asked questions

Do the apps cost anything?

No. All the scoring apps are free to use. The site is supported by advertising.

Do I need to sign up or download anything?

No. Open the app in any modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox) on a phone, tablet or computer and start scoring.

Does it work without internet?

You need a connection to open the app. While scoring, the app runs in your browser and does not need to contact our server for each point.

Do you store my match details?

We do not keep accounts or a database of matches. Matches you finish are saved only in your own browser, under My results. The volleyball apps keep a short list of recent results in a temporary session that expires when you close your browser. See our privacy policy for details.

Can spectators see the score?

Yes. Tap Scoreboard at the top of any scoring app to open a full-screen spectator scoreboard. Show it on a laptop connected to a TV or projector and it updates automatically as you score in the other window. There is space for a sponsor's logo.

Something isn't working. How do I tell you?

Use Report a problem at the top of every app or in the footer. It can include the details we need to fix it.

Which sports will you add next?

We add sports regularly; the latest is cricket. If there is a sport or format you need, let us know.
